“Always-on” voice activated and controlled devices or appliances can have difficulties “hearing” voice prompts and commands. This “hearing”, also known as far-field voice pick-up, is dependent on several variables such as signal to noise ratio, room acoustics, device placement location and respective acoustics, microphone performance, and user’s voice profile. Alango’s Voice Enhancement Package (VEP) dramatically improves the devices far-field voice pick-up whether in the car talking to Siri or at home talking to Google (or vice versa, of course).
N-Mic Beamformer | A microphone array utilizing beamforming preserves the speech from ambient noise and detects the direction of the voice commands. |
Acoustic Echo Canceller (AEC) | Eliminates acoustic echo from the loudspeaker to the microphones. Both mono and stereo acoustic echo cancellers are available. |
Noise Suppressor (NS) | Detects and attenuates stationary and transient noises. |
Flexible implementation of optimal voice pick up for voice trigger recognition, local (embedded ASR) or transmission to cloud for different environments and number of microphones.
